REDin ’26

🎯 Aim

The conference aims to bring together experts, academics, and independent researchers working at universities, R&D and Design centres, the private sector, and civil society organisations — both domestically and internationally — in Bursa on 15–16 May 2026 (in-person only).

REDin ’26 aims to provide an international academic environment for sharing the latest scientific findings in R&D, Design, Innovation, and emerging technologies, and for facilitating interdisciplinary knowledge exchange.

🌐 Scope

The REDin ’26 Organizing Committee encourages academics, industry professionals, and graduate students working across all sub-fields of research, development, design, and innovation to submit their work.

“Special Session” proposals covering a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 papers on a specific theme will be included in the final programme if deemed suitable. All abstract submissions must follow the templates available on our website. The official presentation languages of the conference are English and Turkish.

🎓 Academic Accreditation & Associate Professorship Criteria

REDin ’26 fully meets the definition of an “International Scientific Meeting” as stipulated in the current associate professorship application requirements of the Inter-University Council (ÜAK). The Scientific and Advisory Board comprises respected academics from multiple countries, and all submitted papers are rigorously evaluated through a double-blind peer review process.

📈 Academic Incentive Allowance

The conference is open to international participation. It is targeted that more than half of the presented papers will be delivered by participants from outside Türkiye, in line with academic incentive regulations. Definitive statistics on this ratio will be announced once the conference presentation programme is finalised.

👨‍🎓 Participation for Graduate Students

Graduate students are especially encouraged to submit their innovative research in oral presentation format. Submissions from graduate students will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee, and the most outstanding works will be specially awarded and certified at the conclusion of the conference.

📚 Publication Opportunities

Works presented at REDin ’26 may be published through two different channels at the authors’ preference:

• International Proceedings Book (Indexed Proceeding): Accepted abstracts or full-text papers will be published in the “REDin ’26 Conference Proceedings Book” with an ISBN, to international standards. Full-text papers will be assigned a DOI number for international indexing and citation tracking.
• Aintelia Science Notes Journal (ASNJ): Full-text papers may be considered for publication as articles in our international peer-reviewed journal ASNJ. Eligible works will be published in ASNJ’s Conference Special Issue or regular issues following a fast-track double-blind peer review process.
